VT IDent Plus – Vehicle security and anti-rollaway system

The intelligent driver and vehicle authorisation system prevents theft, accidents and unauthorised vehicle use by ensuring only trained and authorised operators can start and operate vehicles and/or equipment, with built in anti-rollaway protection.

All tags are a passive design they do not contain batteries, therefore, do not have a limited lifespan.

An operator must present their tag for the vehicle to operate.

The systems offers an integrated telematics device for live vehicle tracking. This means it includes driver activity and behaviour logging and reporting via VT Connect and gives full visibility of driver usage, access attempts and events.

The system gives an audit trail for compliance, safety and incident investigation and supports data-driven fleet and safety management.

The system improves operational efficiency and fleet utilisation, reduces fuel consumption by preventing unnecessary engine idling, minimises vehicle misuse, damage and downtime and also supports training enforcement and driver accountability.
